Network Engineer - 10+ years - Bangalore

Role: Network Engineer

Contract - 12 to 24 months, extendable

Work Location - Bangalore - Hybrid

Work Week - 5 days work week with rotational off (Resource can plan their week off as per work)

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in network engineering with strong focus on user office network deployments

• Extensive experience configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches including Catalyst and Nexus platforms

• Deep practical experience with BGP routing in enterprise environments including peering, route control, and troubleshooting

• Proven experience designing and managing VRF based network segmentation

• Strong expertise deploying and managing Aruba wireless solutions including access points, controllers, gateways, and Aruba Central

• Solid understanding of Quality of Service concepts including traffic prioritization for voice, video, and data

• Proficiency in IP address planning, subnetting, and enterprise IP address management

• Working knowledge of network security fundamentals including ACLs, VPN concepts, and firewall basics

• Experience using network monitoring tools and structured troubleshooting methodologies

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex projects from design through operational handoff

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with segment routing technologies such as SR MPLS. Firewall Experience.

• Experience managing enterprise firewall platforms including Juniper

• Network automation experience using tools or scripting languages such as Python or Ansible

• Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP Enterprise

• Aruba certifications such as ACMA or ACMP
