Role: Network Automation Engineer – Core Services

About the Role

Seeking a Network Automation Engineer with strong experience in IP/MPLS, Optical Transport, DWDM, and network automation technologies. The role focuses on automating network design, validation, provisioning, testing, and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Develop network automation solutions for transport and IP networks.
Automate configuration validation and compliance checks.
Build workflow-based automation for network testing and service activation.
Translate network design documents and operational procedures into executable automation.
Integrate automation solutions with OSS, monitoring, inventory, and ITSM platforms.
Develop operational runbooks and automation documentation.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of IP/MPLS, DWDM, Optical Networks, Fiber Transport, and Capacity Planning.
Hands-on experience in Python, REST APIs, Scripting, and Automation frameworks.
Experience with Network Testing and Configuration Automation.
Knowledge of OSS and Network Inventory platforms.
Exposure to orchestration platforms such as Cisco NSO, Itential, or similar tools.
