Job Summary
We are looking for a Network and Security Automation Consultant with experience in software-defined networking, infrastructure automation, and cloud environments. The role focuses on designing and implementing automated solutions for network and security infrastructure using modern tools and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement network and security automation solutions
- Develop automation scripts and workflows for infrastructure deployment and configuration
- Work with development, operations, and security teams to automate build and deployment processes across environments
- Identify and recommend appropriate tools, frameworks, and integration strategies for network automation
- Support automation initiatives across development, staging, and production environments
- Document solutions, standards, and best practices
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members when required
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and automation practices in networking and cloud environments
Required Skills
- Experience with SD-WAN technologies such as Viptela or Versa
- Knowledge of routing and switching concepts
- Experience with network automation or scripting tools such as Python, Ansible, or Jinja
- Familiarity with network and security platforms such as Cisco Nexus, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, F5, or Aviatrix
- Experience with configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, or
SaltStack
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure environments such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or VMware
- Basic administration experience in Linux, Unix, or Windows environments
Preferred Skills
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies
- Familiarity with network load balancing solutions
- Exposure to enterprise automation frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Preferred Certifications
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- HashiCorp Certified : Terraform Associate
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation
