. Evaluate, design, and implement innovative IT security solutions to safeguard our global IT landscape
. Operate, manage, and continuously enhance all global network security components, including DMZ network infrastructures
. Analyse and resolve security incidents while proactively identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, while ensuring compliance with established security policies, standards, and procedures
. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external service providers to maintain robust network security
. Support security audits and penetration tests, documenting findings and defining actionable measures for improvement
. Monitor the global network security environment to ensure ongoing protection and timely incident response
. Contribute to the development, maintenance, and testing of emergency response and recovery plans
. Participate in on-call rotations to provide rapid response to security-related events
A successful Network and Security Specialist (DMZ operations) should have:. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent technical qualification
. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in network security, with strong competencies in diagnosing and resolving complex security and network issues
. Hands-on experience with cloud environments, especially AWS and Azure familiarity with major network and security vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Check Point is advantageous
. Programming or automation skills in DevNet, Python, Ansible, or Terraform relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP Security, CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a strong plus
. Good English communication skills, self-organized, team-oriented working style with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities is preferred
