• Minimum 7 years of experience managing IT infrastructure and networking.

• B.E. / B.Tech / BCA / MCA in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Networking or a related field preferred.

• Degree is not mandatory — proven hands-on technical experience carries greater weight.

• CCNA certification or equivalent demonstrated networking skills.

• Monitor network health across the 10G fiber backbone, core switches and floor access layer — latency, packet loss, link errors, port utilization and uptime.

• Monitor and manage Cisco switches through Cisco Business Dashboard — device inventory, firmware status, configuration backups and alerts.

• Perform VLAN assignment, port configuration, trunk/uplink verification, STP/LACP checks, port security and MAC/ARP troubleshooting.

• Maintain VLAN segregation across Data, Voice, CCTV and Server/Management traffic.

• Maintain current VLAN maps, IP plans and port inventories.

• Support Cisco Wi-Fi 6 access points, PoE switches and PoE budget.

• Diagnose fiber, SFP and Cat6A cabling faults.

• Operate and administer Untangle NG Firewall virtual appliance and its virtual router function.

• Manage firewall rules, NAT, port forwarding, policy-based routing, traffic shaping and intrusion prevention under approved change control.

• Administer VPN access — user provisioning, certificates/credentials, session monitoring, troubleshooting and access revocation.

• Monitor leased-line and FTTH internet links for availability, throughput, latency and jitter.

• Test and document multi-ISP failover.

• Coordinate ISP fault tickets and SLA follow-up.

• Manage five IP pools — allocation, documentation, conflict resolution, unused-address reclamation and DHCP scope/reservation hygiene.

• Maintain static IP inventory and service mapping.

• Monitor 3-node Proxmox VE cluster on Dell PowerEdge R740 — node status, cluster quorum, HA state, CPU/RAM/storage utilization and VM health.

• Validate failover and VM migration during node failure.

• Administer Windows Server & Active Directory — user lifecycle, OUs, group membership, GPO, DNS, DHCP and file services.

• Provision, modify and revoke RDP/RDS access across the RDS farm.

• Balance users across session hosts and monitor session health, profiles and host utilization.

• Track RDS CAL consumption against entitlement.

• Manage access rights for shared folders, NAS shares and departmental data.

• Maintain infrastructure availability for ERP/WMS — host server, database server, storage, connectivity and session performance.

• Track Dell hardware health/warranty and coordinate OEM support calls through closure.

• Monitor Ceph distributed storage — OSD status, cluster health, capacity trends and rebalancing.

• Administer TrueNAS — pools, RAID status, disk health, shares, quotas and authenticated LAN access.

• Detect disk failures, coordinate hot-swap replacement and verify rebuild completion.

• Monitor storage servers/enclosures for drive health, temperature and capacity thresholds.

• Manage VM snapshots/backups to NFS repository, ERP/WMS database backups, mail backups and configuration backups.

• Verify backup completion, retention compliance and secondary/off-site copies where implemented.

• Perform and document periodic restore testing.

• Maintain and rehearse DR procedures covering node/storage failure, power outage, ISP outage, switch failure, fire and ransomware.

• Participate in DR drills and work within defined RPO/RTO targets.

• Administer Dahua video management platform and dedicated CCTV server.

• Monitor CCTV storage, drive status, retention and capacity.

• Maintain camera inventory — location, IP address, PoE port and status.

• Identify faulty/offline cameras and coordinate cleaning, re-alignment, repair or replacement.

• Monitor dual APC 5 kVA online UPS units with parallel redundancy and separate user-load UPS.

• Monitor UPS load, battery health, runtime, input voltage and alarm history.

• Verify UPS failover periodically and maintain emergency alerts.

• Coordinate battery replacement and preventive maintenance.

• Administer Linux-based open-source mail server and Roundcube webmail.

• Manage mailboxes, aliases, quotas, distribution lists, password resets and deactivation.

• Monitor mail queues, delivery failures, service uptime and disk usage.

• Maintain SPF/DKIM status, blacklist checks and mail-serving IP reputation.

• Verify mail server backups.

• Act as first-line technical owner for infrastructure incidents — detect, triage, troubleshoot, resolve or escalate.

• Maintain incident logs with root cause and preventive actions.

• Execute preventive maintenance covering server room/racks, cabling, switch/firewall backups, firmware/patches, UPS, storage, cameras, failover and restore tests.

• Maintain rack diagrams, IP inventory, VLAN maps, licence/warranty registers, AMC/vendor lists, runbooks and SOPs.

• Act as NHPL's on-site technical counterpart to the Managed Infrastructure/FMS provider and remote NOC/SOC.

• Own daily liaison, ticket coordination and closure follow-up.

• Provide on-site hands and eyes support — hardware swaps, cabling, console access, restarts, physical verification and evidence capture.

• Validate provider deliverables — monitoring, patching, health/SLA reports and documentation.

• Supervise OEM, ISP, AMC and provider engineers on-site.

• Enforce change control and server-room access discipline.

• Participate in weekly operational and monthly/quarterly service reviews.
