Network and cyber security Engineers

Description

We are seeking a skilled Network and Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our organization's data and systems from cyber threats while ensuring the integrity and security of our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network security solutions to protect sensitive data.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations and compliance with security policies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest cyber threats and security technologies.
• Provide technical support and training to staff regarding network security protocols.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in network security or cybersecurity roles.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.).
• Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CCNA Security are preferred.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation tasks is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
