Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Network Administrator (L3) with deep expertise in network security, firewall technologies, and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, management, and troubleshooting of complex enterprise network environments across multiple firewall platforms. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on technical knowledge, and the ability to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure and highly available network infrastructures across multiple sites.

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls (Checkpoint/ Palo Alto/ Cisco FTE) including policy configuration, VPN setup, NAT, and high-availability clusters.

• Perform end-to-end network troubleshooting across routing, switching, and security layers.

• Manage network security configurations, ensuring compliance with organizational and industry security standards.

• Deploy, integrate, and maintain Network Monitoring Tools for proactive infrastructure monitoring and performance optimization.

• Implement and manage Wireless LAN environments, including wireless controllers and access points.

• Collaborate with IT Security teams for WAF (Web Application Firewall) configuration and management to safeguard web applications.

• Conduct capacity planning, performance analysis, and optimization of network infrastructure.

• Participate in network audits, incident response, and root cause analysis for major network/security incidents.

• Provide L3 technical support and mentorship to junior engineers.

• Document network designs, topologies, and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years at the L3 level.

• Strong expertise in Checkpoint and Fortinet firewalls (implementation, management, and troubleshooting).

• Experience with multi-firewall environments and complex security architectures.

• Solid understanding of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, etc.).

• Experience with Network Monitoring Tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix) including deployment and configuration.

• Knowledge of Wireless LAN technologies including controllers and access points (Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, etc.).

• Familiarity with Web Application Firewall (WAF) concepts and configurations.

• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Certifications:

• Certifications: CCNP / Fortinet NSE4+ / Check Point CCSA / CCSE or equivalent.

• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and SD-WAN solutions is a plus.
