Job Description
Position: NetSuite Technical Consultant
Location: Chennai - Onsite/Hybrid
Shift Timing: 3.00AM - 12.00PM PST (US Pacific Time)
Engagement Type: Full Time
About the Role: We are looking for a skilled NetSuite Technical Consultant to join our growing ERP practice. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying technical solutions on the NetSuite platform across client engagements spanning implementation, customization, integration, and post-go-live support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop SuiteScript (1.0/2.0/2.1) solutions including User Event Scripts, Client Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, Map/Reduce Scripts, Suitelet, and RESTlet scripts
- Build and configure SuiteFlow (Workflow) automations and SuiteBuilder customizations including custom records, custom fields, forms, and saved searches
- Architect and implement integrations between NetSuite and third-party platforms using REST/SOAP web services, CSV imports, SuiteCloud Connect, and iPaaS tools (e.g., Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft)
- Translate functional requirements into technical design documents and solution specifications
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and support user acceptance testing cycles
- Support data migration activities including data mapping, transformation logic, and NS CSV/import tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in client production and sandbox environments
- Collaborate with functional consultants and solution architects to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Participate in presales activities including effort estimation, technical scoping, and solution demos where required
- Maintain documentation for all customizations, integrations, and technical configurations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on NetSuite technical experience in a consulting or implementation environment
- Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 2.0/2.1 (JavaScript-based)
- Solid experience with SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteAnalytics
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP/web services, and JSON/XML formats
- Experience with at least one integration platform (Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar)
- Exposure to NetSuite modules such as Order Management, Procure-to-Pay, Financials, Inventory/SCM, or Manufacturing
- Ability to create and optimize SuiteQL and saved search queries
- Strong understanding of NetSuite data model, record types, and system architecture
- Experience in client-facing roles with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Good To Have
- NetSuite SuiteFoundation, Administrator, or SuiteCloud Developer certification
- Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) tooling or AI-assisted NetSuite automation
- Exposure to OneWorld multi-subsidiary and multi-currency configurations
- Prior experience in industries such as life sciences, semiconductor/fabless, manufacturing, or wholesale distribution
