Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced NetSuite Functional Consultant to join our implementation team. You will be the bridge between our clients and the platform translating business requirements into working NetSuite configurations, guiding users through the full implementation lifecycle, and ensuring every deployment is delivered with quality and user satisfaction at its core.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands both accounting principles and enterprise software deeply and who takes pride in leaving clients confident, capable, and fully onboarded.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements
- Conduct business process analysis with clients gathering, mapping, and documenting requirements from initial discovery through to sign-off.
- Develop detailed business process flows, gap analyses, and functional specification documents.
- Assist users in establishing procedures and guidelines that maintain data integrity throughout and after implementation.
NetSuite Configuration & Implementation
- Configure NetSuite modules based on documented client requirements covering financials, fee management, reporting, and workflows.
- Deliver full lifecycle implementations from requirements gathering through configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support.
- Conduct thorough system testing and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with client stakeholders.
Training & Support
- Deliver end-user training sessions tailored to the client's team ensuring users are confident and self-sufficient on the platform.
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues and guiding users through process changes as needed.
- Review and document system requirements for workflows and outputs, maintaining clear and accessible records throughout the project.
Project Delivery
- Manage multiple concurrent implementation projects balancing timelines, client expectations, and quality standards simultaneously.
- Collaborate closely with internal sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless handoffs and consistent client experience.
- Translate complex client business requirements into practical NetSuite solutions whether through configuration or process re-engineering recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of full lifecycle NetSuite implementation experience financial modules essential.
- Strong working knowledge of core accounting practices: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Invoicing, Revenue Recognition, Amortization, Allocation, and Taxes.
- Proven ability to translate client business requirements into software solutions or process re-engineering initiatives.
- Excellent user management skills and demonstrated ability to execute structured implementation plans.
- Strong organisational skills able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Business-level English fluency written and spoken.
- Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred
- Oracle NetSuite certification any module.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Prior experience in EdTech, school administration software, or financial SaaS.
- Exposure to school fee management, billing workflows, or education sector finance.
