Optimize SQL queries, manage workload (WLM), analyze system bottlenecks, and tune appliance hardware and network configurations.

Security Administration

Manage users, roles, permissions; enforce least-privilege access; design and implement security protocols.

Backup, Recovery & Disaster Planning

Implement and maintain backup/restore procedures; run nzbackup/nzrestore; plan disaster recovery strategies.

Upgrades & Maintenance

Apply patches, firmware updates, and software upgrades; coordinate full appliance lifecycle.

Troubleshooting & Support

Resolve performance issues, system errors, and production incidents.

Standardization & Documentation

Define, document, and maintain best practices, procedures, and support guidelines, update system documentation.
