Roles & Responsibilities:

7-10 years experience with deploying and managing

Enterprise storage platforms like – NetApp FAS Series – FAS-AFF8080, FAS8080, FAS8040, FAS3K, FAS5K

Must have experience in New Installation of NetApp Products for AFF8080, FAS8040, FAS8080 in ONTAP - C.DOT Filers

Must have Experience in New Node installation in Existing Cluster in SWITCH based Environment.

Must be familiar with

Inter-Cluster SWITCH

Must have experience in Capacity Upgrade like – New Disk Enclosure Installation.

NetApp Oncommand Insight

NetApp Virtual Storage Console (VSC)

Must have Experience in migration from 7-Mode to C.DOT Filers.

Must have experience in SVM creation, Interface creation.

Must have experience in all Protocols – NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, and FC

Strong Experience in Snapmirror and Snapvault. Must be familiar in DR Implementation / Testing the Environment and BCP.

Must have experience in ONTAP upgrade from 8.x to 9.x

Must have strong troubleshooting skill in Enterprise Unix and Windows based Infrastructure.

Must have experience in Capacity Planning and Forecasting.

Command line experience of Cisco/Brocade/McData Storage Switches/Directors

Analytical ability to resolve complex issues in a fast paced and challenging SAN storage environment is needed.

Solid experience in designing and implementing Fiber channel SAN fabrics with Brocade DCX switches and solid understanding of FC protocol in general will be required.

Solid experience with volume management software and file systems i.e. Veritas Volume Manager, DMP, VxFS and other multi-pathing software across heterogeneous operating systems

Shell scripting experience will be an extra advantage.

Advanced business continuity/resiliency knowledge

Experience of production support and Change Management

Excellent verbal and written communication, good customer

handling skills and working experience in working with Virtual customers & Teams.
