About the Role

We are looking for an experienced .NET Technical Lead to lead the modernization, governance, and delivery of enterprise applications built on the Microsoft technology stack. This is a technical leadership-focused role with a strong emphasis on code reviews, development governance, technical documentation, security best practices, architecture oversight, and team leadership, rather than day-to-day hands-on development.

The ideal candidate will be a trusted technical advisor who can drive engineering excellence, mentor teams, establish coding standards, and ensure successful delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions leveraging .NET 7+, Azure, and AI-powered development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor development teams, providing technical direction and fostering engineering best practices.
• Drive application modernization initiatives and oversee delivery of enterprise-scale solutions on the Microsoft technology stack.
• Conduct detailed code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, performance, security, and adherence to organizational standards.
• Establish and enforce development governance, architecture standards, coding guidelines, and review processes.
• Own and maintain technical artifacts including architecture documents, design specifications, coding standards, and knowledge repositories.
• Promote adoption of AI-assisted development tools and practices to improve productivity, quality, and delivery efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to secure coding practices, cloud governance policies, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, QA, and business stakeholders in an Agile delivery environment.
• Drive technical decision-making, risk management, release readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Expert knowledge of .NET 7+ / .NET Core and C#
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Services (App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, Service Bus, Azure DevOps, API Management, etc.)
• Proven expertise in SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices
• Extensive experience in code reviews, quality governance, and engineering standards
• Strong background in technical documentation and architecture documentation
• Experience with application modernization and cloud-native architectures
• Deep understanding of application security, secure coding practices, authentication, and authorization
• Experience leading and mentoring distributed engineering teams
• Exposure to AI-enabled software development tools and practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure or Microsoft certifications
• Experience with microservices and enterprise integration patterns
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience leading multiple Agile teams and large-scale enterprise programs
