Key Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end solution architecture across Microsoft stack.
- Conduct POCs to validate technical feasibility and compare solution approaches.
- Present architecture options with trade-offs (cost, security, scalability, maintainability).
- Design authentication & authorization strategies for modern and legacy applications.
- Lead modernization of legacy .NET applications to cloud-ready architectures.
- Architect secure API layers and integration patterns.
- Guide identity governance and user lifecycle automation strategies.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and enterprise architects.
Core Expertise Required- Strong understanding of Authentication & Authorization concepts.
- Deep expertise in SSO, Federation, OAuth2, OpenID Connect.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Active Directory
- Understanding of:
- Kerberos / NTLM (legacy authentication models)
- Modern token-based authentication
- Experience configuring SSO with enterprise SaaS platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Oracle, Infor).
- Identity Governance & automation (Joiner-Mover-Leaver lifecycle).
- Troubleshooting identity sync and provisioning workflows.
Application Modernization & Architecture
- Deep expertise in:
- Experience modernizing:
- Legacy .NET Framework applications
- Monolithic architectures to microservices
- Experience redesigning authentication layers in legacy applications.
- API design & security best practices.
- Designing integration bridges between cloud systems and legacy databases.
Automation & Engineering Depth
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
- Ability to design reusable automation frameworks.
- Experience building POC prototypes quickly to validate architecture options.
Azure & Cloud-Native Knowledge (Preferred)- Understanding of:
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure Function Apps
- Knowledge of cloud integration patterns.
- Exposure to analytics solutions within Microsoft ecosystem.
