We are seeking a skilled .NET Software Developer to support R&D Automation Enablement Operations by developing and implementing innovative technology solutions. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable applications using the Microsoft .NET framework while supporting automation initiatives that enhance research and development processes. The candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, secure, and high-performing solutions.
About the Role
R&D Automation Enablement Operations focuses on automating research and development processes to improve efficiency, accelerate innovation, and reduce manual intervention. This includes developing automation tools, implementing automated systems for data collection and analysis, and integrating these solutions into existing workflows.
Educational & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 35 years of experience in software development with the Microsoft .NET framework.
- At least 2 years of experience in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and implementing software solutions.
- Experience working in industries such as Financial Services, Network, Utilities, Healthcare, Marketing, Pharma, or Retail is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving ability and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work in a global collaborative team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Key Responsibilities
- Work within the Automation team to develop innovative concepts and applications.
- Design and develop automation solutions to enhance R&D processes.
- Participate in the development lifecycle, from prototyping new functionality to integrating solutions into existing systems.
- Pilot and deploy automation solutions at scale.
- Collaborate with the testing team to ensure applications and components function effectively.
- Identify and resolve defects or performance issues discovered during testing.
- Participate in requirements analysis and functional design discussions.
- Contribute to solution architecture and design.
- Perform design, coding, application maintenance, and testing activities.
- Take ownership of the successful implementation of solutions.
- Interact with clients and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Deliver high-quality code within defined timelines.
- Conduct unit testing to ensure developed solutions meet quality standards.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in .NET / .NET Core development.
- Knowledge of application design, coding, debugging, and software integration.
- Experience in automation development and workflow integration.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in unit testing and application maintenance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies or modern application architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
