About The Role
We are seeking a high-performing, self-driven
Module Lead .NET Core to join our engineering team in Bangalore. In this role, you will lead the design, architecture, and deployment of scalable, high-throughput microservices and cloud-native backend systems on Microsoft Azure.
You will combine hands-on technical execution with leadership taking end-to-end ownership of deliverables, optimizing distributed systems, and mentoring junior engineers to uphold technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Backend Development
- Design and build resilient, scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core (preferably .NET 8).
- Architect distributed systems focused on high performance, fault tolerance, and minimal latency.
Cloud & Messaging Integration
- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on Azure, leveraging services like Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Hubs, and Blob Storage.
- Design robust background processing systems, message queues, and scheduled jobs.
Data Management & Security
- Implement secure API authorization and authentication flows using OAuth and JWT.
- Work with relational (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (CosmosDB, MongoDB) databases, optimizing complex queries and data schemas.
Containerization & CI/CD
- Containerize microservices using Docker and manage deployments via Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated release management.
Leadership & Ownership
- Drive end-to-end feature ownership from technical design to production deployment.
- Code review, mentor, and guide junior/mid-level engineers, enforcing industry best practices and clean code standards.
Technical Requirements
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of solid backend software development experience.
- Core Tech Stack: C#, .NET Core (.NET 6 / .NET 8), Microservices Architecture, REST APIs.
- Cloud Platform: Microsoft Azure (Service Bus, Event Hub, Azure Functions, Blob Storage).
- Database Experience: SQL Server or PostgreSQL, alongside NoSQL databases (CosmosDB or MongoDB).
- Containers & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Security: Solid grasp of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT authentication protocols.
Nice to Have
- Automation & Scripting: Familiarity with PowerShell or Python.
- Observability: Basic exposure to cloud monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics).
- DevOps: Experience setting up or tweaking Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions pipelines.
