.Net Fullstack Developer

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in .NET (Framework and Core/ASP.NET Core) and C#.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks, specifically Angular.
• Extensive experience with database technologies, including Microsoft SQL Server, ADO, and modern ORMs like Entity Framework Core.
• Familiarity with web servers, specifically IIS configuration and management.
• Exposure in applications using Classic ASP (VBScript/JScript), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Integrate applications with Microsoft Entra ID for identity and access management.
• Knowledge of modern development practices, including object-oriented programming (OOP), separation of concerns, and version control (Git).
• Exposure to scripting languages such as Perl and experience with developing or maintaining batch jobs/scripts.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, and modern architecture patterns (a plus).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot complex legacy code.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze existing Classic ASP applications and develop a comprehensive migration strategy.
• Rewrite Classic ASP server-side logic in C# using the ASP.NET Core framework.
• Modernize the user interface and frontend using the Angular framework.
• Migrate legacy databases to modern SQL Server using current data access layers like Entity Framework Core.
• Conduct rigorous testing (unit, integration, UAT) for functional parity and performance.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and monitor the performance of the new applications post-migration.
• Create detailed technical documentation and provide training/support to the development team and end-users.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and business analysts to gather requirements and ensure project alignment.
