Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Develop new applications and support existing applications based on business requirements.

Discuss with users effectively, gather requirements and convert them to technical specification documents.

Able to prepare functional documents from existing applications / programs.

Able to work independently and / or with other team members.

Designs, develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for functional areas

Analyse existing programs or formulate logic for new systems.

Should have strong problem solving & analytical skills.

Flexible in exploring, learning and adapting to working with new technologies.

Able troubleshoot and debug existing applications

Prepare unit test cases and perform unit testing.

Flexible to give production support whenever applications down.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's / master's degree in engineering / MCA/ equivalent.

5 to 8 years of relevant work experience

Skills

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Microsoft .net environment using C#, ASP.Net, ADO.Net

Good experience in SQL server concepts. Able to write procedures, functions and optimize queries performance.

Experience in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS / bootstrap.

Experience working with Web services, Web APIs and MVC concepts.

Must have good knowledge of OOPs concepts.

Good exposure to all stages of SDLC life cycle including deployments and maintenance.

Experience in managing projects in different source controls like SVN and Git.

Experience working with Manufacturing Execution System (like Camstar or any other MES) is plus.

Having knowledge in open-source technologies like Angular, ReactJS, MongoDB is plus.

• Should be available 24*7 for any production issue and support
• Should be flexible to collaborate with peer group in different time zones.
• The work mode of Finisar India is Hybrid i.e. 3 days at office.
