Job Description

Job Title: .NET Developer

Hyderabad, Telangana, India

Key Responsibilities

As a .NET Developer, you will:

  • Software Development: Develop applications using Microsoft technologies, including Visual Studio, C# .NET, VB .NET, ASP .NET, ADO .NET, WCF, Web Services, and IIS.
  • Database Interaction: Write, optimize, and debug SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, and packages for SQL Server.
  • Front-end & API Development: Implement user interfaces using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Node.js), and develop APIs using MVC patterns.
  • Code Management: Utilize GIT for source control and adhere to development best practices, including peer reviews and unit testing.
  • Documentation: Create essential project documents like requirements, functional/technical specifications, use cases, test plans, ER diagrams, and data flow diagrams.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with multiple onshore/offshore stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure effective communication.
  • Project Execution: Self-manage development projects to ensure timely delivery with good turn-around time.
  • DevOps & Security: Engage with CI/CD and automation pipeline tools (Jenkins, Nexus, Harness) and address vulnerabilities identified by tools such as Fortify, WebInspect, Sonatype, and SonarQube.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Technical Proficiency:

  • Microsoft .NET Stack: Strong hands-on experience (5+ years) developing with Visual Studio, C# .NET, VB .NET, ASP .NET, ADO .NET, WCF, Web Services, and IIS.
  • Database Systems: Strong development experience with SQL Server, including writing and debugging SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, and packages.
  • Front-End Technologies: Proficiency in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, and experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, Node.js).
  • Architecture & Development: Experience with MVC and API development.
  • CI/CD & Automation: Hands-on experience with Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools (Nexus, Harness).
  • Security Tools: Experience with vulnerability fixation tools (Fortify, WebInspect, Sonatype, SonarQube).
  • Source Control: Proficient in using GIT.
  • Testing: Experience with test-driven development methodologies and frameworks.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating various project documents (e.g., requirement documents, functional/technical specs, use cases, test plans, ER diagrams, data flow diagrams).

Essential Professional Skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate and understand project requirements.
  • Ability to self-manage development projects with good turn-around time.
  • Experience in working with multiple stakeholders, including onshore and offshore teams.
