Your role, your impact
As a .NET and SQL Developer, you'll be a critical contributor to Alithya's Digital Applications Support team, ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuity of a highprofile application used to monitor equipment status within the nuclear industry. You'll support missioncritical systems that demand high availability, data accuracy, and operational stability.
This role combines deep technical expertise, independent problemsolving, and close collaboration with internal teams and clients to resolve complex application, infrastructure, and database challenges in a highly regulated environment.
Your day-to-day
- Provide ongoing application and production support for a missioncritical solution used in the nuclear industry;
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application, infrastructure, and database issues across environments;
- Develop, debug, and maintain application components using Visual Studio and VS Code;
- Support and enhance integrations with back-end data platforms including SQL Server, NoSQL, and Big Data stores;
- Perform rootcause analysis and implement longterm fixes to ensure system stability and performance;
- Monitor application health, database performance, and infrastructure reliability;
- Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams, including development, DevOps, infrastructure, and client stakeholders;
- Participate in incident management, change management, and release support activities;
- Work independently with minimal supervision while delivering high-quality, reliable outcomes.
Keys to your success
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience);
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a .NET developer or application support role;
- Handson experience with C#, .NET, and Angularbased web applications;
- Experience with Azure cloud services, including deployment, scalability, and highavailability architectures;
- Solid expertise in SQL Server database administration, including performance tuning, optimization, backup/recovery, and security;
- Proficiency across frontend, middletier, and backend application layers;
- Strong understanding of MVC, MVP, MVVM architectures, microservices, Entity Framework, and LINQ;
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation tools;
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and database issues under pressure;
- Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills;
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

- SQL Server and Azure certifications;
- Experience supporting applications in highly regulated or safetycritical industries;
- Exposure to monitoring, logging, and alerting tools for production environments;
- Prior experience in 24/7 production support or oncall support models;
- Ability to work in clientfacing environments with a strong service mindset.
