Job Description

  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases, electrolyte disorders, and hypertension.
  • Manage patients requiring hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and renal replacement therapy.
  • Evaluate and manage AKI, CKD, nephrotic syndrome, glomerulonephritis, and other renal disorders.
  • Perform/oversee nephrology procedures such as dialysis catheter insertion and renal biopsy, as per hospital privileges.
  • Monitor dialysis patients and manage dialysis-related complications.
  • Coordinate with intensivists, physicians, surgeons, and other specialists for complex cases.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with medical protocols.
  • Provide counselling to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and renal care.
