We are seeking an experienced NDT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-destructive testing techniques and a keen eye for detail. This role involves conducting thorough inspections and tests to ensure the quality and safety of materials and structures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) using various methods such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and radiographic testing.
- Interpret and evaluate test results to determine the integrity of materials and structures.
- Prepare detailed reports on NDT findings and communicate results to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during testing procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of tests.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to address any issues identified during testing.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in non-destructive testing (NDT).
- Certification in NDT methods (e.g., Level II or Level III) from a recognized body.
- Proficiency in using NDT equipment and interpreting test results.
- Strong understanding of industry standards such as ASNT, ISO, or ASTM related to NDT.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to convey technical information effectively.
