Description
We are seeking an experienced NDT Coordinator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating NDT activities, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing support to the testing team.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee non-destructive testing (NDT) activities in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of NDT results and findings.
- Train and mentor junior NDT staff and technicians.
- Maintain equipment and ensure that all NDT tools are calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure project specifications are met.
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure adherence to safety protocols during NDT operations.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Certification in NDT methods (e.g., RT, UT, MT, PT) from a recognized body.
- Strong knowledge of NDT techniques and equipment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
