Role Overview

  • We are looking for an experienced Trade Operations professional to lead and manage key operational functions including trade processing, settlements, regulatory reporting, and client communications.
  • The role demands strong domain expertise in stock broking operations, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to regulatory compliance and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth functioning of the Operations department covering trade processes, settlements of funds & securities, IPO and Mutual Fund back-end processes.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory compliance reports within timelines for exchanges such as NSE, BSE, MCX, etc.
  • Handle internal, external and regulatory audits; supervise, lead and coach operations staff as needed.
  • Study regulatory circulars and coordinate implementation plans in consultation with the Head of Department.
  • Ensure timely communications to clients post-trade execution, adhering to TAT.
  • Manage timely settlement of funds and securities as per regulatory guidelines and internal & Education:
  • Master's in Finance / CA / ICWA / ACS Intermediate or equivalent.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 7 + years of relevant experience in financial services / stock broking operations with in depth knowledge of trade lifecycle, settlements, demat & regulatory frameworks.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of banking and stock broking business operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (incl. V-Lookup, Pivot Tables) and MS Office suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Commitment to high performance standards and compliance.
