Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Naval Engineer role based in Chennai. The Naval Engineer will contribute to the design, analysis, and implementation of marine and offshore structures and systems aligned with EPCC project requirements. Daily responsibilities include reviewing engineering drawings and specifications, supporting vessel and marine asset maintenance strategies, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, conducting inspections and performance assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company HSE policies. The Naval Engineer will also support documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability across marine operations.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Navy and Maritime operations, with familiarity in marine industry standards and practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in Marine Engineering, including vessel systems, structural integrity, and marine equipment design.
- Experience in Maintenance & Repair of marine assets, focusing on reliability, lifecycle management, and preventive maintenance.
- Understanding of regulatory and classification requirements relevant to naval and marine projects.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in engineering design and analysis tools (e.g., CAD software, structural analysis programs) and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively on-site within cross-functional project teams.
- Commitment to quality, HSE standards, and continuous improvement in engineering and operational practices.
