National Sales Manager – Biotechnology Based in Delhi

A results-driven National Sales Manager responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, expanding market presence, and leading high-performing sales teams through strategic planning, competitive insight, and effective execution.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement national sales strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and long-term growth plans. He must ensure that the bottom line of the company is always healthy and on strong footing.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire regional sales managers and sales representatives to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Build a high-performance sales culture by setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, and recognizing achievements.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities and mitigate market risks.
  • Formulate effective sales plans based on market dynamics, customer segmentation, and product life-cycle strategies.
  • Drive market penetration by identifying untapped territories, key accounts, and strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Product Management, and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful product launches and commercial execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare institutions, distributors, and strategic customers.
  • Monitor sales performance using data analytics, CRM systems, and key performance indicators (KPIs), implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and resource allocation plans to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, ethical standards, and company policies within all sales activities.
  • Mentor and develop future sales leaders through coaching, training, succession planning, and performance development initiatives.
  • Lead negotiations for strategic accounts and manage complex commercial agreements to maximize business value.
  • Foster customer-centric approaches that enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term partnerships.
  • Represent the company at national conferences, scientific meetings, and industry events to strengthen brand presence and business relationships.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of sales management experience.

Required Skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the biotech industry.

Pay range and compensation package

30-40 Lacs P.A. or as per the experience and caliber of the candidates in the biotech industry.
