Job Description
About Us
Maharaja Shree Umaid Mills Ltd. (MSUM), part of the 85-year-old LNB Group, is an 85-year-old vertically integrated textile manufacturer based in Pali, Rajasthan. Glam Inskirts is our branded entry into the saree inskirt category — a space that's roughly 84% unbranded today. We manufacture entirely in-house, yarn to finished garment, and we're building Glam as a genuine category leader through disciplined offline distribution before scaling marketing spend.
The Role
This is a true builder's role. Most of our priority cities currently have zero distribution — you won't be inheriting a national dealer network, you'll be building one, city by city, and proving a replicable model as we scale. Think early-phase Jockey India playbook, applied to a brand-new category. As National Sales Manager, you'll own the national sales P&L, lead a growing team of Regional and Area Sales Managers across South, North, and East India, and report directly to the Business Head and Director.
What You'll Own
National sales P&L, annual Business Planning, and forecasting
Distributor appointment and channel-building from the ground up
Hiring and leading the RSM/ASM field organization as new markets open
Key account relationships with large-format retail chains
Heavy field travel — this is a field-first role, not a desk job
Brand standards, in-store execution, and trade compliance
What We're Looking For
Graduate, any discipline (MBA strongly preferred)
12-18 years in sales, with 5+ years in National/Zonal/Regional leadership
General Trade/distributor-led offline distribution experience — mandatory
Apparel, textile, ethnic wear, or FMCG background strongly preferred, Textile B2B sales experience
Proven experience building a distribution network from scratch is a big plus
