Job Description

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth in the beverages and alcohol segment.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve business objectives.
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities to expand the consumer base.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on branding and sales initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
  • Oversee the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements within the beverages and alcohol sector.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Consumer Business should have:

  • 10-17 years of experience in National level roles in FMCG.
  • Proven expertise in sales management within the FMCG industry, specifically in beverages and alcohol.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess market trends and business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in using data-driven insights to make strategic decisions.
