National Sales Manager - Book Trade

We are looking for a sales leader who can help scale and strengthen our offline distribution network across India.

This role requires someone who understands how to build relationships, expand distribution, manage teams with structure and discipline, and drive execution across a fragmented retail ecosystem.

Our products are sold through bookstores, toy stores, gift stores, distributors, retail chains, and other trade channels focused on children and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Expand and strengthen the national distribution network
• Add and grow key retail chains and independent retail partners
• Build deeper relationships with distributors and high-potential accounts
• Lead and manage a pan-India sales team with strong systems and processes
• Improve execution, reporting, visibility, and accountability across markets
• Drive secondary sales growth and market penetration
• Work closely with merchandising, operations, and leadership teams
• Ensure strong customer experience and long-term partner relationships

Ideal Candidate

• 10+ years of experience in trade/channel sales
• Experience managing large distribution and retail networks
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Customer-obsessed and relationship-driven
• Comfortable working with systems, reporting, and structured execution
• Experience in books, toys, stationery, gifting, educational products, FMCG, or related retail-driven industries preferred
