Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Indian market.
- Lead a team of Regional Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers, and Sales Executives by providing guidance, support, and training to ensure their success.
- Set sales targets and goals for the team and monitor performance on a regular basis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including architects, contractors, and retailers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, establish partnerships, and expand the customer base.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits and features of Stonestry's natural stone products.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote products and strengthen industry networks.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination within the sales team and with cross-functional departments.
- Manage the entire sales lifecycle, including lead generation, negotiation, sales closure, collections, and supply coordination.
- Provide regular and structured reports to senior management on sales performance, including sales volume, potential pipeline, market trends, competitor activities, and client base expansion opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven sales management experience in the building materials industry (natural stone experience preferred).
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving sustainable business growth.
- Excellent leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire, motivate, and scale high-performing sales teams.
- Strong knowledge of the Indian market and customer dynamics within the building materials sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales-related tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients and attend industry engagements.
