With a strong pan-India presence and a technology-driven platform, iQuippo partners with large industrial houses, PSUs, manufacturers, recyclers, and traders to deliver end-to-end auction solutions.

Role Overview

iQuippo is seeking an experienced and result-driven National Sales Head Auctions to lead and scale its auction business across India, with a strong focus on metal scrap and industrial waste categories. This role will be responsible for driving national revenues, expanding enterprise and PSU relationships, strengthening buyer and seller networks, and leading a high-performing sales organization.

The ideal candidate must have deep experience in auction platform businesses and should have been in a senior leadership role for at least the last 57 years, managing large, geographically distributed sales teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the national sales strategy for the auction business covering metal scrap, industrial waste, surplus, and secondary materials
  • Drive revenue growth, auction volumes, and margins across all regions
  • Lead, mentor, and scale regional, zonal, and key account sales teams
  • Build and strengthen relationships with large corporates, PSUs, manufacturing units, recyclers, traders, and institutional buyers
  • Expand and balance the buyerseller ecosystem to ensure competitive bidding and optimal price discovery
  • Identify new business opportunities across industries such as steel, power, cement, oil & gas, chemicals, infrastructure, and manufacturing
  • Work closely with operations, platform, legal, and compliance teams to ensure seamless auction execution
  • Monitor market trends, commodity price movements, competitor platforms, and regulatory developments
  • Drive adoption and penetration of digital auction platforms
  • Represent iQuippo at industry forums, trade associations, and high-level client negotiations

Key Requirements
  • Graduate / Post-Graduate in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 15+ years of overall B2B sales experience
  • Minimum 57 years in a senior leadership role within an auction platform / e-auction / digital marketplace business
  • Strong domain knowledge of metal scrap, industrial waste, surplus assets, or recycling markets
  • Proven experience in managing pan-India sales operations and large teams
  • Strong negotiation skills, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management capability
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution orientation
  • Willingness to travel extensively across India
