Job Title: National Sales Head

We are hiring a National Sales Head to lead offline distribution sales operations across India for a leading global brand in the retail and sports-lifestyle industry. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in retail distribution, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to build and scale high-performance sales teams across geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive national offline sales through a well-established distribution and retail network.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue, market share, and channel penetration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, channel partners, and retail stakeholders.
- Expand the brand's retail footprint by identifying and activating new channel partners across regions.
- Monitor sales KPIs, market trends, and channel performance to steer business decisions.
- Lead a pan-India sales team, ensuring alignment with targets, processes, and performance standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as merchandising, supply chain, finance, and marketing to ensure effective execution.
- Own sales forecasting, budget planning, and inventory management from a retail distribution lens.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in offline distribution sales, preferably within the retail or sports-lifestyle industry.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role managing national/regional sales and large distributor networks.
- Solid understanding of retail sales operations, supply chain planning, and financial controls.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, growing market presence, and managing key accounts.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
