Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic National Channel Manager to drive partner-led sales growth across India. You will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with our distribution partners, expanding our channel network, and optimizing partner performance to achieve aggressive revenue targets. This is a strategic position requiring someone who can balance relationship management with business development across diverse geographic markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing distribution partners pan-India, ensuring their success through regular engagement, support, and motivation. Act as a liaison between partners and internal teams (sales, marketing, product, support).
  • Channel Network Expansion: Identify, recruit, and onboard new qualifying distributors and resellers to expand market coverage in underserved regions and customer segments. Assess market potential and develop strategic recruitment plans.
  • Sales Strategy & Performance: Develop comprehensive sales plans aligned with company objectives. Set realistic, partner-specific sales targets and KPIs. Monitor channel performance metrics and provide actionable insights to optimize outcomes.
  • Product & Market Knowledge: Master our product portfolio (home automation, audio, networking, CCTV, AoIP solutions) and develop effective sales strategies that address partner and end-customer needs. Perform competitive analysis and share market insights.
  • Conflict Resolution & Compliance: Manage channel conflicts through excellent communication and negotiation. Ensure fair treatment of all partners, enforce company policies, and maintain channel rules of engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with product, marketing, finance, and support teams to equip partners with necessary resources, training, and tools for success.
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on channel performance, identify obstacles, and recommend strategies for improvement.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in channel management, distribution sales, or partner management (preferably in technology, electronics, or B2B sectors)
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing channel partner networks
  • Strong understanding of distribution channels and partner ecosystem dynamics
  • Proficient in Microsoft & Google Office Suite, CRM software (Salesforce or similar), and data analysis tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in smart home, IoT, security systems, or audio/networking products
  • Familiarity with partner relationship management (PRM) tools
  • Knowledge of pan-India distribution networks and regional market dynamics
  • Experience managing partners across multiple geographies
