Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a NAM Tax Specialist at GE Vernova. The NAM Tax Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and stabilization of payroll tax operations across North America, with a primary focus on the United States. They will manage employment tax compliance activities, operational logistics, and high-volume case reduction, while ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. This Specialist will collaborate with internal stakeholders across HR, Payroll, Legal, and Accounting to drive accuracy, timeliness, and compliance, while also identifying opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of experience in employment tax compliance
• Significant work experience with demonstrated understanding of employment tax processes and regulatory compliance in an Operations/Service-oriented environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze data
• Fluent in English knowledge, both verbal and written
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of employment tax regulations at the federal, state, and local levels
