MYP/DP Librarian

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Research and Resource Facilitator (MYP/DP Librarian) to lead and manage the school's learning resource center in an International Baccalaureate (IB) environment. The role involves curating and managing a diverse collection of print and digital resources that support the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) curriculum, while fostering a culture of reading, inquiry, and academic integrity. The facilitator will work closely with teachers to integrate research and information literacy skills into classroom learning, and guide students in effective research practices, source evaluation, citation, and ethical use of information. A key responsibility includes supporting students with major IB research components such as the MYP Personal Project, DP Extended Essay, and other inquiry-based assessments by conducting research workshops, creating research guides, and providing one-on-one guidance. The role also involves promoting digital literacy, managing library systems and databases, organizing author visits and reading initiatives, and maintaining an engaging, collaborative learning commons that encourages independent learning, critical thinking, and global-mindedness.
