Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and passionate IBDP Chemistry Teacher to deliver engaging and inquiry-based learning experiences for Diploma Programme students. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, experience with IB methodology, and the ability to support students in achieving academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons for IBDP students.
- Develop lesson plans aligned with the IB curriculum framework.
- Encourage inquiry-based and student-centered learning.
- Prepare students for internal and external IB assessments.
- Guide students in practical laboratory work and experiments.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in curriculum planning, staff meetings, and professional development activities.
- Support students with Extended Essays (EE), TOK integration, and CAS activities when required.
- Communicate effectively with parents and school leadership regarding student performance.
Requirements
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
- B.Ed. or teaching qualification preferred.
- IB DP Chemistry teaching experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of IB philosophy and methodology.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning.
