Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager (Mutual Funds) role based in Lucknow. The Client Relationship Manager will engage with existing and prospective clients to understand their financial goals, risk profile, and investment time horizon, and help map these to suitable mutual fund solutions in line with regulatory guidelines. Daily responsibilities include conducting client meetings, explaining mutual fund products and asset allocation concepts in simple language, and assisting clients with onboarding, documentation, and transaction-related queries. The role involves monitoring client portfolios, sharing periodic reviews, flagging rebalancing needs, and coordinating with internal teams for timely execution and issue resolution. The Client Relationship Manager will also support client education through calls, one-on-one discussions, and small group sessions focused on long-term financial discipline and transparent communication.

Job Description:

  • Strong client-facing skills, including the ability to build long-term relationships, actively listen, and communicate complex financial concepts clearly and respectfully.
  • Solid understanding of mutual funds, asset allocation, risk profiling, and goal-based financial planning, with an interest in staying updated on market and regulatory developments.
  • Proficiency in basic financial analysis and use of spreadsheets or financial tools to prepare portfolio summaries, reports, and reviews.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple client accounts, follow up systematically, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Comfort with using CRM systems, email, and digital communication platforms to manage client interactions and track engagement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., NISM Mutual Fund Distributor or equivalent, AMFI certification) are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in mutual funds distribution, wealth management, or financial advisory is preferred, though motivated candidates with strong learning aptitude will also be considered.
  • Collaborative mindset, ethical approach to client advice, and commitment to regulatory compliance and data confidentiality.

Must have Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to simplify and explain mutual funds
  • Basic Understanding of Mutual Funds, SIP's, and Finance
  • Ability to convince and deal with client queries regarding mutual fund investments confidently
