Role & Responsibilities
- Define and own the engineering roadmap for music products align architecture, delivery timelines, and quality targets with product and commercial strategy.
- Lead, mentor, and grow engineering teams across backend, platform, and audio-engineering disciplines; hire senior technical talent and set organisational structure.
- Architect and deliver scalable, low-latency audio systems and real-time streaming infrastructure to support live, on-demand, and collaborative use-cases.
- Drive adoption of cloud-native best practices (microservices, Kubernetes, CI/CD) and observability to ensure reliability and measurable SLAs for audio pipelines.
- Collaborate with product, design, and data science to prioritise experiments, A/B tests, and performance targets that increase engagement and retention.
- Establish engineering-excellence playbooks code quality, automated testing, security standards, and incident response for 24/7 audio services.
