Role Description

This is a part-time remote position for a Music Teacher. The role involves teaching students in both one-on-one and group settings, creating customized lesson plans, assessing progress, and motivating students to achieve their musical goals. Engagement may include instruction in music theory, performance techniques, and specific instruments depending on the specialization of the teacher. Teachers are expected to foster a love for music in a dynamic, virtual environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Music Theory and general knowledge of Music concepts
• Strong skills in Music Performance and expertise with at least one instrument (e.g., piano, guitar, violin, etc.)
• Experience in Music Education, including lesson planning and delivering engaging instructions
• Excellent verbal communication and the ability to inspire students of various skill levels
• Comfort with virtual teaching tools and remote instruction technologies
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Music, Music Education, or a related field
• Prior teaching experience is preferred
• Passion for music and working with learners of all ages
