Music Teacher

Furtados School of Music, established in 2011, provides music education to over 250,000 students across India through partnerships with 250 schools and 12 centers in major cities like Mumbai, Pune, and Bangalore. The institute offers a holistic music education experience, including state-of-the-art instruments, teaching assignments, and certifications through affiliations with renowned institutions like Berklee College of Music, NMIMS, and Trinity College London. Their innovative FSM Buddy software enables students to continue their music training at home for added convenience. Furtados School of Music specializes in teaching diverse disciplines such as Keyboards, Guitars, Western Vocals, Piano, Indian Vocals, Violins, and Music Theory.

We are seeking a dedicated Music Teacher for a full-time on-site role in Mumbai. The Music Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality music lessons, including individual and group sessions, in disciplines such as music theory, performance, and specific instruments like piano. Additional duties include preparing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering creativity in a supportive, engaging learning environment. The role also involves collaborating with other instructors to maintain the institute's standards for excellence in music education.

• Proficiency in Music, Music Theory, and Music Performance
• Experience and expertise in Music Education and knowledge of pedagogical methods
• Proficiency in at least one instrument, such as Piano or other related instruments, is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students
• Passion for nurturing and inspiring young musicians
• Prior teaching experience is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field is desirable
• Certification from reputable music institutions like Trinity College London or equivalent is advantageous
