Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Music Teacher for primary school, located in Indapur, Pune. The Music Teacher will plan and deliver engaging music lessons aligned with primary school curricula, introducing students to basic music theory, rhythm, and melody. Daily responsibilities include teaching vocal and instrumental music, organizing practice sessions, preparing students for school events, and assessing their progress through assignments and performances. The teacher will manage classroom activities, maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, and collaborate with other staff to integrate music into broader school programs. The role also involves communicating with parents and guardians about student development and participating in staff meetings and training sessions as needed.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Music Theory and Music, with the ability to simplify concepts for primary school students.
• Demonstrated skills in Music Performance and Music Education, including experience leading group and individual lessons.
• Proficiency in Piano or another primary instrument used for teaching young learners.
• Relevant degree or certification in Music, Music Education, or a related field.
• Experience teaching or working with children in a school or educational setting.
• Ability to create inclusive, engaging, and age-appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in school events, performances, and extracurricular activities related to music.
