We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Manager to lead the testing strategy, planning, and execution for Front to Back MX system, with a strong focus on Murex and front-to-back office workflows.
The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise in financial markets, a solid understanding of treasury products (FX, MM, IRD, Fixed Income, Derivatives, etc.), and proven experience in managing complex testing programs across trading, risk, and operations platforms.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in QA/Test Management within Treasury or Capital Markets environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Murex– front-to-back testing across trade capture, pricing, risk, and settlements.
- Deep understanding of treasury products – FX, MM, IRD, Fixed Income, etc.
- Experience with Murex modules such as MxML Exchange, MxTest, Datamart, and workflows.
- Proven track record in end-to-end integration testing, covering interfaces with upstream trading systems, market data feeds, risk engines, and downstream accounting systems. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Planning Define and implement the end-to-end testing strategy for Treasury systems, including Murex and its integration with upstream/downstream applications (trading, risk, settlements, finance, etc.).
- Establish testing governance frameworks, QA standards, and best practices across the Treasury technology landscape.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, covering functional, regression, integration, UAT, and performance testing phases.
- Test Management Lead and coordinate multiple test teams (internal and vendor) across front, middle, and back-office streams.
- Oversee defect management, test progress tracking, and risk reporting to senior stakeholders. Ensure testing activities are aligned with project timelines, quality gates, and release management schedules.
- Manage the automation roadmap and promote the use of modern QA tools and frameworks (e.g., automation suites for Murex, CI/CD integration). Stakeholder Management Collaborate closely with business users, developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure testing coverage and quality standards.
- Liaise with Front Office, Risk, Operations, Finance, and IT Support teams to validate business processes and workflows.
- Present test metrics, quality reports, and go/no-go recommendations to steering committees. People & Process Leadership
- Lead and mentor test teams, providing technical and domain guidance. Promote a culture of continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
- Manage vendor resources, ensuring quality delivery and adherence to SLAs.
