With a strong front to back expertise of the cash, securities and derivatives markets, coupled with an in-depth knowledge of financial markets technologies.
We are seeking a highly-skilled Murex MxML Interface Consultant to work in a client-servicing role to drive one of our client's global system implementations, with responsibilities given as below:
- Responsible for the utilization of the Murex Methodology/ Model in the confirmation and matching of transactions, settlements and payments.
- Build new up/ down stream interfaces.
- Convert existing integration point with Murex version change Development of MxML (Workflows, Exchange); XSL/ Transformation
- Assist existing support group(s) in resolving integration related request or issues.
- Contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverables.
- Ensures customer satisfaction and follow-up on the interfacing related activities.
- Work with the Murex system and its users to test the implementation, achieve sign-off (UAT), and continue to move the system toward go-live.
- Support clients with the development of their own internal project plan, including the identification of key setup and configuration tasks, scope considerations, timeline and scheduling, as well as resource requirements.
- Liaise with technical team(s) when needed to resolve environment related issues and necessary enhancements in preparation for cloud deployment.
- Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT).
- Assist in system integration, data migration and implementation.
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree, preferably from Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or relevant disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience on workflow configuration/ development in Murex to manage trade validation, confirmation and events including MxML Exchange, trade flows, confirmation generation, payment flows.
- Strong knowledge of MxML and interfaces.
- Strong programming skills with Java, XML, XSLT
- Good knowledge on Shell scripts, SQL, Unix, Linux
- Basic knowledge with Treasury Products, such as FX, MM, Equities, etc
- Previous experience developing interfaces with external system inbound/outbound Murex.
- Hands-on business understanding, able to provide technical analysis and solutions for business issues, improvements and technical requirements.
- Good teamwork and communication skills to work closely with various teams
- Knowledge of Murex architecture, environments and functional modules
