We are seeking an experienced Murex L2 Production Support Engineer to provide functional and technical support for Murex and related Global Financial Markets (GFM) applications.

Notice period: Immediate / 15 days
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 production support for Murex and GFM applications to ensure business continuity and system stability.
- Support Front Office, Back Office, Finance, Risk, and Credit teams, including direct interaction with traders during market hours.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents affecting trading, risk management, finance, and downstream systems.
- Coordinate with development teams, infrastructure teams, and external vendors for issue resolution and root cause analysis.
- Monitor application health, system performance, and batch processes to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Perform configuration analysis, performance tuning, and system optimization activities.
- Develop and maintain automation solutions to streamline operational processes and improve support efficiency.
- Participate in release deployments, change management activities, weekend implementations, and on-call support rotations.
- Document incidents, resolutions, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, SLAs, and operational best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
Murex Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with Murex production support.
- Experience supporting Murex modules including:
- eTradepad
- Simulation
- Limits
- Livebook
- MXML
- Datamart
- Market Data
- Risk Management Components
Technical Skills
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Experience with scripting/programming languages such as Shell Scripting, Python, Perl, or Unix scripting.
- Knowledge of automation tools and operational process optimization.
- Understanding of application monitoring, log analysis, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
Functional Knowledge
- Understanding of Capital Markets, Treasury, Trading, and Financial Products.
- Experience supporting Front Office trading environments.
- Knowledge of trade lifecycle, risk management, and financial operations processes.
