About the Team:

The Murex CoE team is responsible for development, support, and optimization of Murex platforms used across Front Office functions. The team ensures stable trade lifecycle processing, risk calculations, workflow automation, and system enhancements while maintaining operational reliability and alignment with defined technology and control standards.

Summary:

In this role, you will manage delivery and relationship oversight for Murex development initiatives within the Murex CoE. You will lead teams responsible for coordinating development activities, ensuring stable platform operations, and maintaining strong alignment between technology teams and front office stakeholders supporting derivatives processing.

Responsibilities:

• Build, scale, and lead the Murex engineering organization in Pune supporting Mizuho Americas Front Office Technology initiatives.
• Develop workforce plans, hiring strategies, onboarding frameworks, and succession pipelines to support long-term organizational growth.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and operational excellence across the organization.
• Manage delivery of Murex development initiatives supporting derivatives trading and risk workflows.
• Act as primary coordination point between business stakeholders and engineering teams for Murex platform enhancements.
• Oversee execution of development, testing, and release activities to ensure SLA-aligned platform performance.
• Monitor delivery milestones, system stability metrics, and operational KPIs.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination across development, QA, and production support teams.
• Drive resolution of high-impact production issues and ensure proper escalation handling.
• Support planning and prioritization of Murex development backlogs and enhancement requests.
• Ensure adherence to defined development standards, operational controls, and change management processes.
• Mentor delivery leads and strengthen domain expertise in derivatives workflows and Murex platform operations.
• Represent the Pune Murex CoE within global technology forums and contribute to strategic planning for Front Office Technology

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in capital markets technology environments supporting trading platforms.
• Must be legally authorized to work in India without employer sponsorship.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of Murex platforms supporting derivatives trading and risk processing.
• Familiarity with Linux and Oracle environments supporting Murex systems.
• Working knowledge of Java-based integrations or customization frameworks.
• Strong understanding of derivatives trade lifecycle processes.
• Proven experience managing delivery teams in SLA-driven production environments.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing globally distributed teams across the US, India, and other international locations.
• Experience leading organizational transformation, talent development, and succession planning initiatives.
