Job Description

•Bachelor's Degree in Business Management / Information Technology or equivalent.

•4-12 years work experience in application functionality, preferably in the banking/treasury industry

•Experience MX3.1 (Front Office: FXMM, Fixed Income, Equities Product Knowledge, Middle Office Risk: MLC, VaR & Market Data, Back Office & datamart modules 

•Experienced in end to end flow including life cycle flows of the trades 

•Experienced and knowledgeable in Treasury products.

•Experienced in configuration of the Murex applications 

• Murex Special Project

• 1. Strong Experience in Murex System MX3.1 application on the FO pricing templates and Pre trade rules, Datamart and MxML related Configurations.

• 2. Knowledge in Treasury Products including CURR/IRD/CRE/COMM/EQD/SCF products behaviour understanding, configurations and P&L related.

• 3. Knowledge on Murex GOM configurations 

• 4. Ability to reconcile for IRS/CCS/Bond, FX, commodities, credit, cash flow, income & other assets classes

• 5. Good understanding of the end to end products flow cycles from FO, MO and BO..

• 6. Ability to document the end to end flow and also correctly map the fields between the templates/reports based on Regulatory needs and validation by the users 

• 7. Involve in the resolution of the defects and also support the project manager on time to time 

• 8. Drive the functional and technical workshop and handhold the various stakeholders during the discussion. 

• 9. Expected to have good understanding of main functional & technical components of the MX.3 FO, datamart and MxML modules and its capabilities:

• 10. Ensure compliance with design and coding standards, IT Security, good project management practices.

• 11. Improve and optimize the existing process

• 12. Involve in any development and enhancement on pre trade rules at pricing and booking sequence for BAU and project requirements.

• 13. Provide the scalable and flexible solutions

• User Acceptance Test (UAT) Phase

• 1. Participate in the UAT cycle and help the developers / PM to handle the functional defects responses with the users. 

• 2. Update the defect information in the system and also work closely with Murex vendors on defect chasing and closure 

• Liaise with Support team

• Work closely with the Support team around the go-live timelines and explain the key changes which is implemented as part of the project. 

• Share the relevant documents with the Support team which would be linked with the project team.

• Liaise with Project Manager and EAD teams

• 1. Determine the action taken based on the analysis result from project management coordination.

• 2. Support Impact Analysis and estimation for an ITSR.

• 3. Report ITSR status & issues to Project Manager for the functional areas 

• Good functional, analytical and written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to work among teams and good time management

• Highly functional/technical experience and result oriented and can work independently.

• Possesses strong functional, technical, analytical, design and estimation skills

• Prepare detail functional document, contribute to technical documentation, unit test cases.  

• Good understanding of the Operational flow, process flow and control, understanding of the product life cycle and impact on the payments.

• Programming logic in arithmetic operations, program flow control, multiple file access and use of externally described files, display screens and print reports

• Experience in Murex 3.1 as FO, DataMart and MxML Consultant with more than 9 to 12 years of experience is required

• Good understanding and working experience of designing and implementing FO, Datamart and MxML.

• Experience in Murex Development for FO related modules pricing templates, simulation viewer and pre trade rules.

• Experience in Murex Development/Migration of DataMart reporting MX 2.11, MX3 Murex DataMart reports

• Good understanding on the data model differences between Mx 2.11 and Mx 3.1

• Experience in Simulation based Reports and Risk Matrix based reports, complex reports would be required

• Good exposure dynamic tables, pre and post filters, feeders, batch of feeders, extractions, reporting tables and processing scripts

• SQL based reports and extractions

• Optimization of feeders and reports would be an advantage

• MxML data dictionary for workflows and templates development

• MSL pre trades rules development and enhancements

• Knowledge in optimising the workflows by consolidating and clean up redundant workflows.

• Knowledge on development, tracing and troubleshooting of Pre trade rules at pricing and booking sequence. 

• Knowledge on OSP configurations, access rights and validation process.

• Ability to work proactively, independently when necessary and displays strong initiative.
