Hiring: Murex Business Analyst | Capital Markets | MX.3
Location - Hyderabad
We are looking for a Murex Business Analyst with strong Capital Markets expertise to join a high-impact program focused on trading, risk, and post-trade transformation.
This role requires a blend of functional knowledge and hands-on Murex experience, helping bridge business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver robust solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements
- Translate complex business needs into functional specifications (BRD/FRD)
- Work closely with Front, Middle, and Back Office teams
- Map current vs. future state processes
- Define scope for enhancements and migration initiatives
Murex Configuration & Implementation
- Configure Murex modules (MX.3):
- MxML Exchange, Datamart, Workflows
- Support onboarding of financial products across:
- FX, Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives
- Design:
- Validation rules
- Simulation screens
- Pricing templates
- Analyze:
- Accounting, confirmation & settlement rules
Testing & Support
- Develop test scenarios, cases, and execution plans
- Lead UAT with business stakeholders
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues
- Provide support during critical go-live phases
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of hands-on Murex experience (MX.3 preferred)
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle & financial instruments
- Expertise in at least one area:
- Front Office (Pricing)
- Risk (VaR)
- Back Office operations
- Strong domain knowledge in:
- FX, Interest Rate Derivatives, or Credit
- Experience with:
- Murex Datamart & MxFormula
- Writing BRDs, FRDs, user stories
- SQL for data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks:
- EMIR, MiFID II, Dodd-Frank
- Experience in Agile / Scrum environments
