Role Description The Multimedia Editor is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for shaping and refining multimedia content for brand experiences and events. This role involves planning, editing, and assembling video and multimedia assets for museum exhibits, experiential zones, and corporate events, ensuring that all deliverables align with creative briefs and brand guidelines. The Multimedia Editor will collaborate closely with creative directors, designers, producers, and technical teams to translate concepts into compelling visual narratives. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing raw footage, selecting and organizing clips, creating rough and final cuts, adding motion graphics, sound, and basic color correction, and ensuring content is optimized for various display formats. The role also includes maintaining media libraries, managing file organization, and supporting on-site content reviews and revisions as projects move from concept to live execution.

Qualifications

  • Strong multimedia skills, including working with diverse formats and assets across digital installations, events, and experiential environments.
  • Hands-on experience in video production, from pre-production planning to post-production workflows and asset management.
  • Proficiency in video editing, including assembling footage, adding transitions and effects, sound syncing, and basic color and audio adjustments.
  • Editorial and writing skills to help refine narratives, create clear story arcs, and ensure content is engaging and on-brief.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop or similar).
  • Ability to interpret creative and technical briefs, take feedback constructively, and iterate quickly under deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in experiential marketing, events, museums, or installations is an advantage.
