Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Operations
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of hotel equipment and facilities.
- Attend to guest room maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly.
- Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC maintenance work.
- Monitor and maintain lighting, air-conditioning systems, water supply systems, and other engineering equipment.
- Ensure all engineering logs, checklists, and maintenance records are accurately maintained.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all hotel safety procedures and engineering SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with fire, life safety, and health regulations.
- Report any safety hazards, equipment failures, or maintenance concerns immediately.
- Support fire drills and emergency response procedures as required.
Guest Service
- Respond to guest maintenance complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Minimize disruption to guests while carrying out repair work.
- Maintain a positive and service-oriented attitude at all times.
Energy Conservation
- Monitor utility consumption and support energy-saving initiatives.
- Ensure equipment operates efficiently to reduce energy wastage.
Housekeeping & Maintenance Standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of engineering workshops, stores, and plant rooms.
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
Qualifications & Experience
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or related technical field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in hotel engineering or facility maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Basic understanding of safety regulations and preventive maintenance practices.
