Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MuleSoft Lead Developer / SME with 9+ years of overall IT experience and strong hands-on expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The candidate will be responsible for leading MuleSoft integration development, solution design, technical delivery, code reviews, troubleshooting, and providing technical guidance to development teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, API-led connectivity, RAML, DataWeave, API Manager, CloudHub, and enterprise application integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of MuleSoft integration solutions.
• Work as a MuleSoft SME and provide technical leadership to the integration development team.
• Design scalable and reusable APIs using API-led connectivity principles.
• Develop Mule 4 applications using Anypoint Studio and DataWeave.
• Design and implement REST/SOAP APIs and system/process/experience APIs.
• Create and maintain RAML/API specifications using Anypoint Design Center.
• Manage APIs using Anypoint API Manager and implement security policies.
• Deploy and manage applications on MuleSoft CloudHub / Runtime Manager.
• Integrate MuleSoft with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, SAP, databases, messaging platforms, and third-party applications.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to MuleSoft development standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues, performance problems, and integration failures.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to MuleSoft developers.
• Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, estimation, and solution discussions.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, DevOps, and other technology teams.
• Support CI/CD implementation and automated deployment of MuleSoft applications.
• Ensure appropriate logging, monitoring, error handling, security, and performance optimization.
• Prepare technical documentation, design documents, and integration specifications.

Mandatory Skills

• 9+ years of overall IT experience
• Strong hands-on experience in MuleSoft / Anypoint Platform
• Strong experience in Mule 4
• Expertise in Anypoint Studio
• Strong knowledge of DataWeave 2.0
• Hands-on experience with API-led connectivity
• Strong experience in REST APIs and SOAP web services
• Good experience with RAML and API specification/design
• Experience with Anypoint API Manager
• Experience with CloudHub / Runtime Manager
• Strong knowledge of MuleSoft error handling, exception strategies, logging, and troubleshooting
• Experience with MuleSoft security policies and API governance
• Strong understanding of integration patterns and enterprise integration architecture
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Good SQL/database integration knowledge
