Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Integration Architect with strong expertise in MuleSoft and enterprise integration architecture to design, implement, and govern scalable API-led integration solutions across cloud and on-premise environments. The role requires deep experience in middleware, ESB, messaging, and API management along with leadership in integration best practices and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and deliver end-to-end MuleSoft integration solutions using API-led and API-first approaches.
Design distributed, multi-tier integration architectures across cloud and on-premise systems.
Define technical reference architecture, integration standards, and best practices for MuleSoft platforms.
Lead implementation on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and CloudHub, including CI/CD setup with Jenkins and GitHub.
Design and implement messaging and API integrations using JMS, SOAP, REST, OAuth, and SAML.
Ensure high availability, scalability, clustering, failover, and load balancing for multi-site integrations.
Produce architecture documents, integration specifications, and solution designs.
Guide and mentor development teams on MuleSoft architecture, development, and administration.
Monitor and optimize MuleSoft integrations using tools such as Splunk.
Integrate enterprise systems, LOB applications, CMS platforms, and manage content migrations.
Support MuleSoft deployments on AWS and hybrid integration landscapes.
Review code, manage pull requests, and resolve merge conflicts in Git-based workflows.
Required Skills & Experience:
15+ years in Middleware/Integration with 5+ years as MuleSoft Architect.
Strong hands-on expertise in Mule ESB, Anypoint Platform, and CloudHub.
Experience in API design and development (SOAP/REST) and messaging (JMS).
Knowledge of authentication and security protocols (OAuth, SAML).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Maven) and Agile delivery.
Background in Java, JEE, and web services; Spring/Hibernate preferred.
Strong understanding of integration lifecycle, methodologies, and API management.
Experience with XML, JSON, and flat-file data integrations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
Experience designing highly available MuleSoft environments.
Exposure to CMS/LOB integrations and content migration.
Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Splunk.
